So, in the midst of the night, I bring to you, munchies simplified!

First, let's go with the
AFTER BREAKFAST SNACK

(REMEMBER, SIMPLIFIED...)

STRAWBERRY & BANANA TOAST

INGREDIENTS:

2 STRAWBERRIES
1 BANANA
2 TOASTED WHEAT BREADS
(SLICED/BAGEL)

Toast. Slice. Spread. Enjoy!

P.s... You can substitute any fruits of your choice! Have fun. Add nuts or nut butter!

Next up I give you thee
AFTER DINNER SNACK

(REMEMBER, SIMPLIFIED...)

THE FIESTY AVOCADO

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 AVOCADO
CHILI POWDER
1 SPOON

Slice. Spice. Scoop. Enjoy!

P.s... You can eat both halves and not feel guilty! I ate mine before I could get a pic! Lol Sorry. It's Sooo good!

What I Wake Up To... Go Dezz!

Ok, so I showed you some healthy snack options. A dessert. A dinner.

Almost forgot breakfast!

SN: I hate mushrooms! The smell. The taste. The texture. The idea!

Moving along, I have noticed that a fresh smoothie in the morning gives me that balanced feeling between satisfied and energized!

Ingredients:

Kale- make sure you get your green
Spinach
Pineapple
Banana- with the peel (y not?)
Apple- or any other fruit/veggies
Mushroom- hoping I couldn't taste
Yogurt- sub with soy milk for vegan
Ice

Add up the vitamins and nutrients!

About Last Night... GO DEZZ!

Last night, before our radio show began...

    ( Live With Slim N Dezz! )

My family feasted upon chicken tacos for dinner. I did not join them.

But I did join them for their Healthy Dessert Smoothie!

Ingredients:
Peanut butter
Chocolate chips
A banana
Vanilla yogurt
Ice
Creme brule coffee creamer
Then BLEND BLEND POUR DRINK!

I know its not "Vegan" persay, but it was healthier than traditional desserts, it was homemade And it was Super Delicious! The kids loved it. And so did I.

But after the show was my time.
To start off, I scavenged for any fresh veggies I could find in my kitchen and garden that I love! This is what I came up with...

Ingredients:
Garlic
Red baby bell pepper
Baby spinach
Baby kale
Tomatoe

Sofrito- flavor
Garlic hummus- spread/dressing
Flour Tortillas- wrap

Sautee veggies to your liking in the sofrito. Spread hummus on wrap. Stuff, fold, eat!

About Last Night... Even my plate was smiling!

I have never had a problem with being overweight... I did notice an unnatural swelling that disappeared after cutting out the #junk #meat #dairy.  #GoDezz

Easy Delicious Healthy Snack. Go Dezz!

What should I name this?

Ingredients:

Wheat Bread
Peanut Butter
Ground Cinnamon
Sunflower Seeds

Directions:

Toast bread
Spread P.B.
Dust with cinnamon
Sprinkle seeds

P.s. you can modify any step to your tasting. The kids can do it too!

Feeling hungry... Go Dezz!

I'm hungry...

I guess I'm not filling up on the right vegan snacks...

Starting from breakfast...

Fruit loops & organic soymilk.
(i love cereal.. a weakness) not sure if its vegan though... Never checked

Then, instead of coffee, I started making Green tea. Instead of black Tea because according to my blood type, black tea isn't good for me.
.. so like I said. I STARTED MAKING green tea, and saw that I  had some blueberry tea bags.

What the Hell! I threw in a bag of blueberry with the green, no sugar
(the blueberry looked black tho :/ )

Anywho!
After I let it cool down. I took a sip. And noticed the tea had ALREADY stained my WHITE porcelain coffee mug!

So... Automatically. I think.
This SHIT is going to do the same thing to my teeth!
(I pour it out into the sink)

No more black tea for MEE.
For Sure!!!

Rewind.. thats fruit loops & soymilk for breakfast. No tea. Just H2O.

A few reality tv show episodes later.
I reach for an organic home grown TANGELO! (tangerine crossed with navel oranges) TANGELO. That was just picked from a family members garden Sunday!

So.. its late afternoon. 3 pm ISHH
And you guessed itttt.
I'm HUNGRY... :) #veganlife #iCan

With a family relocation, a new start is just what I needed to become the best Dezz I can be.

Who is Dezz?

For those of you don't know,

I am a free spirit. I practice positive vibrations to keep my life balanced. Happy. And healthy!

Health is very important to me, especially because of my medical history.. ( We will get to that at a later blog post I'M SURE!)

I am on a journey to eat what my body needs. And less of what my brainwashed mind tells me I want!

I have joined the online Vegan community recently and am excited about the positive attitudes and strong minded people it has put me in network with.

Even possibly an online Vegan Talk Radio Show!
